  • The main gymnasium is named after H.R. Moye, former Principal of Jefferson High School from 1967-1973.
  • The first graduation exercise of Jefferson High School was held in May 1950, when 21 seniors received their diplomas.
  • El Capitan is the name of Jefferson's yearbook, named for the highest peak in the Guadalupe Mountains.
